I love people’s stories. There are few things more powerful then God at work in people’s lives. It is one of my favorite things to hear, God at work even today.

Convicted is the story of two men who are now the best of friends. The story of getting there though was anything but normal. In fact it was the stuff that made headlines.

I loved the honesty of this book. There was something just so raw and vulnerable. I can’t imagine living any of this was easy. But we all must live with the consequences of our choices….. or even consequences of other’s choices.

I want to tell you so much about this book. I mean I really loved reading their stories. But even more than that I want you to read it. I mean you know how it ends, they are friends now and they forgave each other. But the story itself……It wasn’t an easy ride. Forgiveness did not just happen. It is a process.

What an example these two men can be to all of us. While of course Christ should be our first example, let these guys just be a reminder of the sweetness that comes with letting anger and hatred go.
